Hello, I’m Christy – the memory keeper, storyteller, and creative hands behind Paper Hideaway. Welcome to my quiet little spot where you are invited to document, share and preserve your memories right alongside me.
My Approach
Over the years, my approach to memory keeping has changed. For decades, I primarily took photos of family events like birthdays, holidays, and vacations. I never documented the stories behind the photos though. I was so focused on capturing the moments that I never recorded or shared my memories of them.
Today though, I take a more personal and reflective approach. My memory keeping is now centered around those memories most meaningful to me. Memories that reveal my values, experiences, and lessons learned. Rather than trying to capture all of life’s moments, I now focus on those memories that I want preserved for years to come.
